Jordan’s Spring Routine

As the energy of spring awakens, our days are filled with a renewed connection to the great outdoors, especially here in the Pacific Northwest. We find ourselves embracing more outdoor activities from yard and gardening maintenance to revitalizing our living spaces. Here’s how Jordan, Indigo Movement’s coordinator, welcomes spring!

With the days lasting longer, Jordan commits to at least a 30-minute stroll around her neighborhood or Seattle’s beloved South Lake Union to enjoy the fresh air and scenery. Of course, comfortable sneakers are a must!

Every season, Jordan has a ritual of reviewing the family’s wardrobe. She goes through everyone’s clothing and footwear, getting rid of pieces that no longer resonate with their style or no longer fit comfortably. Jordan also replaces the bulky outerwear and winter clothing with lighter garments she has stored away for the spring and summer months.

Jordan also switches up the family’s meals. She often prepares wraps and salads, opting for grazing eating throughout the day over hefty evening meals. And let's not forget the abundance of seasonal fruits and vegetables that she incorporates into her meal prep!

As she and her family eagerly anticipate their summer adventures, she also starts to plan trips and memorable experiences for the children’s summer break. After all, there are so many fun things to do in Seattle during the summertime!

Cheers,
