Celebrating LGBTQ+ Community: Empowering Change & Supporting Non-Profits

Seattle is renowned for its vibrant and inclusive LGBTQ+ community, which has long championed diversity, equality, and acceptance, fostering a supportive environment where people from all parts of the world can express their true selves. These organizations work tirelessly to provide essential services, advocacy, and safe spaces, addressing issues like homelessness, healthcare access, and social justice. They are a powerful force for positive social change, proving that when we stand together, we create a more inclusive, supportive, and empowered world for all.

Lambert House

Since 1981, Lambert House has been a safe place for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth that empowers them through the development of leadership, social, and life skills. It is a place where LGBTQ+ youth make life better for each other. Throughout the year, they host activities, dinners, support groups, planning meetings, dances, and other events for the community. They are the only social service agency in Seattle and King County dedicated solely to LGBTQ+ youth. To support Lambert House and their efforts, please consider volunteering or donating.

Entre Hermanos

Enter Hermanos is a Seattle-based organization dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of the Latinx Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and questioning community. They offer a wide range of programs, such as HIV prevention, immigration, housing and supportive services, and case management for people living with HIV. To support Entre Hermanos and their efforts, please consider sponsoring or donating.

Lavender Rights Project

Lavender Rights Project elevates the power, autonomy, and leadership of the Black intersex & gender diverse community through intersectional legal and social services. Their organization disrupts oppressive systems that target Black gender diverse and intersex communities of color and lead to disproportionate levels of poverty, housing disparities, and gender-based violence, especially among Black and Indigenous people. They proudly offer free affirming, supportive legal services for Black and Indigenous communities in Washington State, with a focus on uplifting Black trans women and femmes. To support Lavender Rights Project and their efforts, please consider volunteering or donating.
