April Showers Bring May Flowers

In Seattle, the rain is more than weather—it’s a rhythm, a reminder to slow down, turn inward, and nurture ourselves. Instead of wishing for the sun (summer, can you please hurry up? LOL), what if we welcomed the rain as an invitation to rest and replenish? Here are a few of our team’s favorite rainy-day rituals to help you feel grounded, cozy, and connected.

Journaling with Intention

Just like the rain, I like to let my thoughts pour onto the pages of my journal. I’ll light a candle, pour myself a cup of tea, and do some reflecting. I use journal prompts like: “What do I need most today?” or “What can I let go of?” - Jordan

Nourish from Within

When it comes to comfort food, nothing hits the spot like a hearty bowl of Bulalofrom Kilig Seattle. This traditional Filipino beef soup is pure warmth in a bowl. It’s packed with collagen-rich beef broth that’s said to support youthful skin. Bulalo features tender beef shank, luscious bone marrow, sweet corn, charred cabbage, and baby potatoes. It's the perfect reminder that self-care isn’t just about what you do — it’s also about how you nourish yourself. - Tiana

Find Your Inner Sun

When it’s rainy outside, I go to my local yoga studio to take a Hatha Yoga class, which is a beautiful blend of slow, mindful movement and gentle strength. Rooted in breath and intentional pacing, this practice helps you reconnect with your body, clear your mind, and invite a sense of warmth and radiance from within. It’s the perfect way to bring the sun back into your day — no matter the weather outside. - James

Herbal Bath Soak

I like to draw a warm bath and infuse it with essential oils such as chamomile, ginger, frankciense and a few drops of jojoba or watermelon seed oil. Sometimes I change it up and use bath bombs by Honu. My fave is their Oatmeal Mint (this product contains THC)! I also like to catch up on my favorite shows while I’m in the tub or listen to tunes from my Spotify playlist (HERE). - Tiana
