Fall is Officially Here!

Hey y’all,

Saturday marked the official start of Fall, which means it’s time to break out your favorite fall items (hello, boots!), pull out your Yeti Rambler, and get acclimated to your new routine! Fall is a season of change, with the transition from the warmth of summer to the cooler, more dormant period of winter. Fall is celebrated for its beauty, its harvest, and the fun events and traditions associated with it!

Check out a series of Halloween candlelight concerts playing throughout Seattle venues. If you’ve never experienced one, it will be lit with candles while talented string musicians play spooky Halloween classics. You can check upcoming concerts HERE! (FYI: There’s also a candlelight tribute to Beyonce this week! Tiana has experienced this firsthand and had an amazing time. A candlelight tribute for Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny is also happening over the next few weeks!)

There’s more to Fall other than the return of Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte! Many local bakeries, cafes, and restaurants add fall items to their menu. For example, Coffeeholic, a coffee shop in the Columbia City neighborhood, offers a Pumpkin Cheesecake Latte, and Temple Pastries in the Central District offers a Pumpkin Cheesecake Croissant. How delicious does that sound? Check out more fall offerings from local businesses HERE!

Do you enjoy being scared? Then take your bravest friends with you (unless you’re THAT brave to go alone!) to a nearby haunted town! Yes, you read that right! In case you didn’t know, there are a few haunted towns in Washington state, such as Melmont, Monte Cristo, and Bodie. Learn more about them HERE!

Cheers,

Movement Snack

This week's movement snack is called the mermaid stretch. This exercise stretches your side body (obliques, shoulders, and hips). This stretch lengthens the muscles between the ribs and pelvis. Watch our new video on YouTube (HERE) or TikTok (HERE), and follow us for fresh content posted each week!
