Bye, Bye January!

We're one month into 2022 and I hope you're still upholding yourself to your new year's resolution for the year!

Remember, it's ok if you slip up, there is nothing wrong with starting over again or even writing new resolutions.

Just remember the following:

1. Be realistic.

The fastest way to fail your new year's resolution is having an unattainable goal.

2. Outline your plan.

Make sure to have a plan in place for how you will deal with the temptation to skip that exercise class or have that piece of cake.

3. Track your progress.

Make sure to keep track of each success because every win counts, even if they're small! It's also a lot more motivating than looking at your goal as a whole which can feel daunting and overwhelming.

4. Persistence and patience are key.

It takes about 21 days to form a new habit and six months for it to become part of your personality. It won’t happen overnight, so remember to be persistent.

5. Don't give up!

Sometimes you might slip up, but don't let that discourage you. Just start over again!

Lastly, with Valentine's Day around the corner, don't forget to show yourself some self-love (a.k.a. self-care!) Take a relaxing bath to end a long day, buy yourself flowers from the grocery market, or better yet, treat yourself to a massage, all are simple and easy ways of telling yourself "I LOVE YOU". See you on the table soon!
