Local Food Banks to Support

Hey y’all,

The meaning and customs of the Indigenous Heritage Day (Thanksgiving)  may vary among individuals and families, but the central theme is one of gratitude and appreciation. Let’s not forget those in need this holiday season and make sure to give back. Donating during this time of year is a beautiful way to express gratitude and give back to your community. Many organizations engage in charitable activities during this time to help those in need. Below are some local food drives in the Seattle and surrounding area.

West Seattle Food Bank

They now serve thousands of people a year and their mission is simple: keep our community healthy while continuing to ensure all our neighbors have access to food, emergency financial assistance, clothing, diapers, and other basic needs. You can support them with your time, financial and/or food or clothing donations. Click HERE to learn more.
