Let The Pride Events Continue!

As many of you know, Seattle has a very vibrant LGBTQIA+ community with numerous organizations dedicated to supporting and advocating for LGBTQIA+ individuals. Supporting these organizations during Pride Month is a great way to celebrate and uplift them; and there are many ways to do so, such as volunteering your time, donating, and spreading awareness about their work. This week and next week, we’ll share some notable LGBTQIA+ organizations you can support:

Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center (formerly Gay City)

Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center cultivates access and connections to promote self-determination, liberation and joy in our communities. The Center remains the leading HIV/STI tester in King County, home to several LGBTQ-affirming services, and provides access to several diverse resources. The organization is also an active force in queer youth engagement and provides LGBTQ-centered trainings that address the needs of the most marginalized people within our community. Learn more about them HERE!

Entre Hermanos

Entre Hermanos brings Trust Into LGBTQ+ Care. They focus on the well-being of the LGBTQ Latinx community through advocacy, education, and support services. Their mission is to promote the health and well-being of the Latino Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ+) community in a culturally appropriate environment through disease prevention, education, support services, advocacy and community building. Learn more about them HERE!

Pride Foundation

Pride Foundation is building a better, safer, and more equitable world for LGBTQ+ people and their families in the Northwest. Their work is guided by the fundamental belief that every person should be able to live safely, openly, and genuinely in all of the communities we call home. Learn more about them HERE!
